Email Automations
Set it up once. Every new member gets a personal welcome sequence — automatically, on your schedule, without any extra work from you.
Open the Automations section
In your dashboard, go to the Email tab. Scroll down to the Automations section. Click + New automation to open the builder.
Name your automation
Give your automation a name you will recognize — for example, Welcome Sequence. The name is for your reference only. Your members never see it.
The trigger is set automatically: When someone joins your membership. Every new member is enrolled the moment they subscribe.
Add your emails
Click + Add email to add a step. Each step has three fields: how many days after joining to send, a subject line, and a message body.
A simple starting sequence: Day 1 — your welcome message. Day 3 — your best content or top tip. Day 7 — an invitation to engage, ask a question, or share a resource.
Add as many steps as you need. Each step sends once per member, in order, at the delay you set.
Save and activate
Click Save to save your automation. Then click Activate from the automations list to turn it on. New members who join after activation are enrolled automatically.
Deactivating a sequence stops new enrollments. Members already enrolled continue to receive their remaining steps.
Understand how delivery works
OwnYour checks for due automation emails every five minutes. Steps send within five minutes of their scheduled time.
If a member pauses their subscription, their next step holds until they resume. If a member cancels, their remaining steps are cancelled — they do not receive further emails from the sequence.
If a cancelled member rejoins later, they start the sequence fresh from the beginning.
