Yes. OwnYour uses Stripe Connect — payments go directly from your buyer into your connected Stripe account. OwnYour never holds or touches your sale revenue. We charge a flat subscription and nothing more. Stripe charges their standard processing fee (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) which is the same regardless of which platform you use. OwnYour adds zero on top of that.

Pay once, never pay again. Starter lifetime is $899 — after that, no monthly fee, no annual renewal. Pro lifetime is $2,499. Lifetime pricing is available during our launch window only and will be removed when that window closes. After 31 months at $29/month you've spent $899 anyway — lifetime just means you stop counting months.

Your public store stays live. Your links still work. Your buyers can still purchase from you. Sales continue to pay out directly to your Stripe account — OwnYour never touches that money regardless of your subscription status. What pauses on cancellation: editing your store, adding products, sending broadcasts. Nothing gets deleted. Resubscribe anytime and everything is exactly where you left it. No. You can build your entire store — add products, set your prices, customize your look — without connecting Stripe. You only need Stripe connected when you're ready to accept payments. The onboarding checklist walks you through it and most creators complete it on day one. It takes about 5 minutes.

Yes, on Pro. You point your domain's CNAME to OwnYour, we handle SSL automatically, and your store lives at yourname.com. On Starter you get yourname.ownyour.store — a real subdomain, not a path inside our domain. Your brand in your URL either way.

Full access to everything in your chosen plan — no feature limits, no watermarks, no restricted sections. Build your store completely, add products, connect Stripe, and share your link during the trial. Your card is on file at signup but is not charged until day 8. Decide to stay? Nothing to do. Want to cancel? Do it anytime before day 8 and you won't be charged. Your store stays live either way.

Email us at hello@ownyour.store and we'll migrate you personally — free. We're building a one-click import tool, but for now we do it manually. Most migrations take less than 24 hours. Your existing products, files, and links all come over.

Your data is always exportable — audience CSV, transaction history, product files. You never lose access to what you built. We're funded by subscriptions, not venture capital. We're building a sustainable business for the long term, not a moonshot with an exit date. That said, if anything ever changed, you'd have everything you need to move — because that's been the point from day one.

No contract. Cancel anytime from your billing portal — no fees, no forms, no retention flow. Monthly billing stops immediately. Annual billing stops at the end of your current period. Lifetime billing doesn't apply — you've already paid once and that's it.
