I started building for creators in 2018.

Back then, the goal was simple: give creators a platform they actually owned. WordPress sites built to their spec, on their domain, under their control. Their pipeline, their audience, their terms.

That idea has never changed.

By 2020, the tools had shifted and I shifted with them. I kept learning. December 2023, I began studying large language models. Summer 2025, I began building software using Claude Code.

Then something confirmed what I already knew.

I was teaching creators how to build their own link-in-bio pages. The more I taught, the more I heard the same thing: can you just build it for me?

That was clarity. Creators know what they want — a business that runs.

So before I wrote a single line of direction, I listened. Months on TikTok. Lives, comments, DMs. Creators at every level, describing the same desire: a home base that belongs to them. A list they can take anywhere. Revenue that stays with them.

I'm Shaela. I create content, sell digital products, and I have never written a line of code.

I built OwnYour in 30 days — using Claude and Claude Code as my development team, orchestrating AI to build what I needed for myself. I was the first user. Every decision in this product came from exactly where you are right now.
