Custom Domain
Give your store a professional home. Connect your own domain — like yourbrand.com — and your store loads there automatically. Your ownyour.store link keeps working too.
Open the Domain section
In your dashboard, go to the Settings tab. Scroll down to the Domain section. Enter your domain name — for example, yourbrand.com — and click Connect My Domain.
Starter plan includes 1 custom domain. Pro plan includes up to 5 custom domains.
Add the DNS record
Log in to wherever you bought your domain — GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Cloudflare, or similar. Look for DNS, DNS Settings, or DNS Records under your domain's management page.
Add a new record with these exact values:
If there is already an A record with name @, edit it and replace the value with the IP above. Do not add a second A record.
Verify your DNS
After saving your DNS record, come back to the Domain section in your dashboard and click Check DNS. DNS changes typically take 5–30 minutes to propagate — in some cases up to a few hours depending on your registrar.
When OwnYour detects that your domain is pointing to the right place, the status updates automatically and SSL provisioning begins.
Understand the status labels
Your domain moves through these states:
Disconnect a domain
To remove a custom domain, click Disconnect next to it in the Domain section. Your store remains available at your ownyour.store subdomain. You can connect a different domain at any time.
Disconnecting does not delete the DNS record at your registrar — you will need to remove or update that separately if you no longer want the domain pointing to OwnYour.
