Verified Reviews

OwnYour reviews are verified — they come only from real buyers. Every review request is triggered automatically after a purchase, so your social proof builds without you having to ask.

Verified means real buyers only
Reviews cannot be manually added or fabricated. Every review on your store came from someone who actually purchased from you. That verification is what makes them credible.

How the review system works

    Review request sent automatically
    After a buyer completes a purchase, OwnYour sends them a review request email automatically. You do not need to trigger or send this yourself.

    Buyer submits their review
    The buyer clicks the link in the email and submits their review on a branded page. Their review is tied to their purchase — it cannot be submitted without a verified transaction.

    You moderate before it goes live
    New reviews land in your dashboard for moderation. You choose to approve or hide each one. Only approved reviews display on your public store page.

Managing reviews in your dashboard

    Open the Customers tab
    In your dashboard, click Customers in the sidebar. The Testimonials section is at the top of the tab.

    Review pending submissions
    New reviews appear under Pending Approval. Read the review and choose to Approve or Hide it.
    Approved reviews display publicly on your store.
    Hidden reviews are removed from your store but remain in your dashboard — you can unhide them at any time.

    Resend a review request
    If a buyer did not receive their review request or has not responded, you can resend it from the Awaiting Response section in the Customer Reviews tab.

Note: On Starter, you can collect and moderate as many reviews as you receive — only the display limit applies. To show all reviews publicly, upgrade to Pro under Settings → Billing.
