Your members get their own personal portal where they can manage their subscription, update payment information, and access exclusive content. It's automatically created when someone subscribes — no setup required.
How members access their portal
When someone subscribes to your membership, they receive a welcome email with their unique portal link. This link is personal to them and gives them secure access to their subscription details.
The portal URL follows the format: yourname.ownyour.store/portal/[unique-id]. Each member gets a different ID, so their access is private and secure.
What members can do in the portal
The member portal is a full self-service hub. Members can view their subscription status, see when their next payment is due, and update their payment method directly through Stripe's secure interface.
They can also pause or cancel their subscription if needed. All changes sync immediately with your dashboard, so you always have the latest information.
Exclusive content access
If you've uploaded files or content exclusive to members, the portal is where they access everything. Files are organized by upload date, and members can download them anytime their subscription is active.
This makes the portal perfect for delivering monthly resources, bonus content, or member-only downloads without any manual work from you.
Portal notifications and updates
Members receive email notifications for important subscription events — successful payments, payment failures, or when their subscription status changes. These emails include direct links back to their portal.
You can also see portal activity in your dashboard. The Members tab shows when someone last accessed their portal and what actions they've taken.
Customizing the member experience
The portal automatically matches your store's branding and colors. Your logo, color scheme, and overall aesthetic carry through to create a seamless experience for your members.
